Derek is the owner and a therapist himself. He is currently splitting his time between the North Carleston and West Ashley offices, but you never know where he might pop up! A Charleston native, he received his Bachelors in English at Queens College. He went on to receive his Masters of Science and Rehabilitation from the Medical University of South Carolina for Physical Therapy. He enjoys playing golf and soccer. He and his wife also keep busy with their two boys.

Andrea can be found at our Johns Island location. Originally from Greensboro NC, she attended the College of Charleston and received her Bachelors in Exercise Science. She went on to receive her Masters of Science and Rehabilitation from the Medical University of South Carolina for Physical Therapy. Outside of work, she stays active by trying to keep up with her three young boys.

Lisa works primarily at the our North Charleston location. Hailing from Northern Virginia, she attended Virginia Tech and received her Bachelors in Human Nutrition, Food and Exercise. She went on to receive her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina. Outside of work, she enjoys going to the beach and is looking forward to warmer weather to be able to go scuba diving.

Mark was a US Navy hospital Corpsmen for 6 years and then graduated from Shenandoah University in Winchester, VA in 1993 with his Master's in Physical Therapy. Mark has close to 30 years of Physical Therapy experience in all settings with a focus on Manual Therapy and one-on-one patient care. He moved to the Lowcountry this past October from West Virginia with his wife Marcia. They enjoy the beach, camping, hiking, kyaking and relaxing on their back deck with their dog, Lucy.

I’m a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant and graduated from the University of Central Arkansas. I’m married with two children. I enjoy spending time with my two Miniature Schnauzers and working out. My hobbies include quilting and cooking. My husband and I moved from Alaska to Charleston after he served 25 years in the Air Force. I have 11 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant. I enjoy working with geriatric patients and have experience treating pre and post-op surgery patients, those with balance and gait deficits, and patients who require aquatic therapy.

Heather works primarily at the Johns Island location. She is from southern Mississippi and got her Bachelors in Biological Sciences from Mississippi State University. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from California State University, Sacramento. She was happily brought to Charleston by the Air Force. Outside of work, she likes reading, hiking, and spending time with her husband and 1-year old son.
